History Bee Varsity & Junior Varsity Stages

For students in the Junior Varsity and Varsity division (in 9th-12th grade), the History Bee is divided into three stages for the 2021-22 school year:

1. Regional Tournaments

Any student in grade 9th-12th can register for a Regional Tournament. There is no qualification needed.

2. National Championships

The top 50% students at any Regional Tournament qualify for the History Bee National Championships, to be held most likely in Ottawa in May.

3. International History Olympiad

The top 50% at the  Regional tournaments and at the Canadian Championships qualify for the International History Olympiad, to be held in Princeton, NJ, USA and New York City, on July 25-August 1, 2022 in the USA.
